Jennifer Lynn Baker died June 2, 2023, in Mankato, MN at the age of 37. She was born September 23, 1985, to Douglas A. Schultz & Karen L. Schultz. She attended high school at Byron High School, St. Peter High School, and Century High School (Rochester, MN). After high school, she moved to Hawaii with her mom and attended Kapiolani Community College. She would travel to Minnesota to spend time with her dad and stepmom (Sheri) and to see friends. She married James Baker on February 29, 2012, on a beach in Hawaii. They had three beautiful children, Lyla Baker, Maverick Baker & Jocelyn Baker. James and Jennifer divorced in 2014. Everyone moved back to Minnesota from Hawaii in 2017.

Jennifer is survived by her children Lyla Baker (14 y.o.), Maverick Baker (12 y.o.), and Jocelyn (Jojo) Baker (10 y.o.) all of Mankato, MN; her parents Douglas (Sheri) Schultz of St. Peter & Karen Schultz of Mankato; her brother Jacob (Tashina) Schultz, nephew Wyatt Schultz & niece Emma Schultz all of Nicollet, MN: & Stepbrother Andy Comeaux & stepsister Chelsea Comeaux. She also had many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Celebration of Life will occur June 23, 2023, from 4 pm – 7 pm at the Minnesota Square Park in St. Peter, MN. We ask in lieu of memorials or flowers that any gifts of money be given to the GoFundMe account for her three wonderful children.
