Background
Jennifer was diagnosed with stage IV colorectal cancer in November 2017. The support, services, information and camaraderie that she received from the colorectal cancer alliance was invaluable as we started her cancer journey. Later, once she got past the worst of the initial battle, she became a cancer buddy herself, helping and supporting others, like she was supported. She joined various committees and worked hard to raise money and awareness for early onset colorectal cancer and the importance of early screening, having been diagnosed at the age of 41 herself.
