Jennifer's obituary
Jennifer was soon adopted from Catholic Charities by the late famed set designer Jo Mielziner and actress Jean MacIntyre.
Jennifer and her older brothers, Michael and Neil, grew up in Manhattan’s famous Dakota building, where she was known to drop eggs from the roof onto unsuspecting victims below. Summers were spent at the Newtown country home and mother MacIntyre’s native Honolulu.
A gifted athlete, she advanced to the nationals in both figure skating and equestrian riding by the time she was 12.
As an unapologetic feminist, in 1972, she pioneered the first offshore paramedic company, Air Medic, in Louisiana.
The oil company good ol’ boys club were not ready for an Anne-Margret doppelganger, Yankee female executive quite yet, and Air Medic folded by 1976.
She spent her later years creating the Set Medic position in the Film and Television Industry, before retiring to become a professional pet trainer. Loved by all creatures big and small, Jennifer met her true calling as the miraculous “Ms. Doolittle”, finding peace and practicing Buddhism.
Jennifer graduated with a B.A. from the University of Hawaii, and married Robert Errickson (div. 1968) with whom she had two children, Donna Jo Errickson, and Krista Anne Errickson, who survive her.
She is also survived by a granddaughter, Brianna Roberts,
and great granddaughter, Margo James, whom she sadly never met due to her dementia.
She died a peaceful death, April 1st, 2021.
