Jennifer (Tuschl) Grundtner, 45, of Colfax, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 25th, 2024, in Clearwater, Florida. Jen was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to James and Cynthia (Hullberg) Tuschl on April 30th, 1978, sharing her father’s birthday. Jen grew up outside of Colfax with her three siblings, Greg, Angie, and Samantha.
On March 18th, 1995, Jen married Tobias Grundtner of Colfax, and soon the couple welcomed their first daughter, Brianna, on August 16th, 1995. In 1996, Jen graduated from Colfax High School, and went on to receive her associate degree as an Administrative Assistant from Chippewa Valley Technical College in December 1998. Four months later, on April 30th, 1999, the couple welcomed their second daughter, Alexia. Jen basked in sharing her birthday with her daughter and her father.
In June of 2003, Jen and Toby relocated their family to Clearwater, Florida, where they soon started their own business providing IT support to home users and to businesses across the state of Florida. Jen took pride in her work and constantly learning and developing her career, and decided to go back to college in 2015 to pursue her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting at Florida Institute of Technology. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in December of 2017, receiving the Distinguished Student Scholar Award along the way. That is when she launched her career as a Freelance Accountant.
Jen loved spending time with her two daughters, family, and friends. Her happy place was in the warm sun, boating on the Gulf of Mexico, laying by the pool, or hosting get-togethers in Clearwater and in Colfax. She enjoyed reading, exercising, and gathering around the table working on puzzles.
