Jennifer's obituary

Jennifer Marie Cindrich, 52, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Unity Point in Waterloo, IA in the early morning hours of Sunday, August 11th.

Jennifer was born on April 14, 1972 in Oelwein, IA, the daughter of Charles (Bob) and Linda (Ludden) McCarty. She was a graduate of Oelwein High School and went on to receive her nursing degree from Hawkeye Community College.

She was united in marriage to her husband, John Cindrich on February 4, 1994.  They raised two daughters, Spencer and Sydney, in Fairbank.

Jen was survived by her husband, John, her daughters, Spencer (Craig) Sperfslage and Sydney (Hunter) Churchill, three grandchildren, her mom, Linda McCarty, her sister, Samantha (Daniel) Power, and her mother in law, Ann Sparks, her aunt, Cindy Nicolay and nieces and a nephew that she loved dearly.

Preceding her in death was her father, Charles “Bob” McCarty, a brother, Charles Robert McCarty Jr, and her father in law, John Cindrich.

Jennifer would have hated the idea of a memorial service where attention was all on her. The family will be celebrating her life at the later date in private, but invite anyone to please privately celebrate Jen’s memory in your own ways. We know that she will be with us all in spirit. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.
