It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jenna Vanessa Trujillo-Gonzales, age 40, a cherished resident of Taos. Jenna departed this life unexpectedly on October 21, 2025. Born on September 1, 1985, Jenna was a beacon of light and joy to all who knew her.

Jenna's radiant presence was marked by her beautiful, unforgettable dimpled smile, which could light up any room she entered. Her laughter was contagious, and she had the remarkable ability to make friends wherever she went. A loving and devoted mother, Jenna's world revolved around her children, whom she adored deeply. She poured her love into everything she did, especially when cooking for her friends and family.

Known for her compassionate heart, Jenna was always sensitive to the needs and problems of others. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand or a listening ear to her friends in their times of need. Her generosity of spirit and kindness will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Jenna is preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Trujillo, and her grandparents, Sabino and Corina Trujillo, as well as her grandfather, Elfido C. Gonzales. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for her children, Mikayla Leon, Lorenzo Leon, and Alessandro Gonzales; her mother, Susan K. Trujillo; the father of her two older children, Javier Leon; her loving husband, Juan Gonzales; siblings Thomas L. Trujillo and Jerome Trujillo (Audrey); her grandmother, Helen Gonzales; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many devoted friends.

In keeping with her family's wishes, private family services will be held to honor and celebrate Jenna's life. The Trujillo-Gonzales family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.

The care of Jenna Vanessa Trujillo-Gonzales has been entrusted to DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos.
