Jeffry Kenneth Johnson, 66, of Reno, NV passed away suddenly on August 6th, 2024.
Jeff was born on September 10th, 1957 to James and Janice Johnson in Englewood, NJ. After Jeff graduated from Mount Rainier High School in 1977, he went on to study Marketing at Washington State University where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. Jeff cherished his friendships gained through childhood and college.
Jeff met Gillian Naylor while they were both students at Washington State University. Jeff and Gillian went on to have 3 daughters, Courtney, Kelsey and Mallory.
Jeff was an avid golfer and Seahawks fan. He valued the relationships in his life above all else. You could always find Jeff with a smile on his face, and if you were lucky, you could get a signature Jeffy cackle out of him. Jeff spent his free time golfing, spending time with his beloved grandchildren, traveling with his sisters, Kathy and Kris, and beating everyone at “Dirty Johnson.”
Jeff spent the majority of his career as a card dealer at Bellagio in Las Vegas, NV. He excelled at this role due to his friendly nature and ability to connect with those around him. He made many lifelong friendships during his time there.
In 2020, Jeff retired and moved to Reno, NV to be closer to Kelsey and her four children. He enjoyed taking the kids to school and activities and being a daily staple in all their lives. He thrived at the role of loving, fun Grandpa.
Jeff was predeceased by his parents James and Janice Johnson. He is survived by his two sisters Kathy and Kris, his three daughters, Courtney, Kelsey and Mallory and eight grandchildren, Anna, Oliver, Charlie, Adeline, Margot, JJ, William and Tommy.
