I remember walking home from school with my friends and Jeffrey and Kenny D. were behind us making comments. Kenny's nickname was "Turtle" and so we asked Jeffrey what his nickname was. He simply said ... suffer. So we called him Suffer after that. He may have had a jacket that had Suffer written on it, the memory is cloudy.

The days we spent fishing, playing street football and basketball are still etched in my mind...
