Wonderful friend and all around amazing human being. We were true friends for 45+ years and I will miss him for the remainder of my life. My thoughts and prayers go out to Apryl, Jenny and his mom and dad (all of whom I am proud to call my friends, as well).  Jeff was one of the most “Real” people that I have ever known. He had a HUGE heart and would give family/friends the shirt off his back if you needed it.
My Prayers are with all of those who knew one of the world's greatest men. May God's peace and comfort you through this time of bereavement. Let's celebrate the Life and Memories that were made with Jeff. Taking solace in the fact that his battle is now over and he is with the Creator!
Jeff got his good nature and care for others from his family. After 40 years of friendship I have many stories I could share but there just is t space for them all. At 17 Jeff learned I had spent a couple nights sleeping in my truck and after talking to his folks he insisted I come stay with them until I could work out something. I spent a month in their home until I had an apartment sorted out. He was always there to volunteer to help someone, co tribute to a cause, do a fundraiser or assist someone. It’s how he was raised. He was one of those people that was genuinely happy to see someone do good, achieve something, win or be happy. A rare trait in a world full of jealousy and me-ism. I’ll miss you buddy and the gentle soul you had toward almost everyone.

Jeff was the most caring of all the guys I used to hang out with "back in the day".  Anytime a fight or argument would break out he would do his best to be the peacemaker.   Sure wished we had kept up more often over the years, so many things compete for our time, and then its gone.  He will be missed by many.

Remembering when we met up at Shakey's Pizza when you were quite young and I saw a guy who I knew from elementary school and I asked you to go up and ask him if he was from my home town because I was too chicken to ask. He was who I knew him to be and he and his family were visiting from Arizona. I think it was after you and your family had moved to Texas. Love and miss you. Enjoy your heavenly BBQs.
