Jeffrey “Jeff” Tyson, age 60 passed away in the evening of April 22, 2022. Jeff was born to Mary and Isaac Tyson on February 11, 1962.

Jeff was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, and friend to so many people. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Jeff later joined the U.S. Army. After serving 7 years in the military, Jeff, and his late wife Richardena, made Spanaway, WA their home where he worked for the U.S. Postal Service as an Equipment Operator.

His family will remember him as a hardworking, loving, and humble man. Jeff was the type of person who could talk to you from sunup to sundown about anything. He loved his hometown Philadelphia and the home he made in Washington. Jeff spent his time outside of work doing what he loved most, watching the Philadelphia Eagles, spending time with his family & friends, cooking, and singing along to his favorite songs at karaoke.

He is survived by his children Daniel White, Staci White, Jerrell Smith, Lamar Smith, and Ebony Peterson; grandchildren Dakaliné White, Dakai White, Richaúd White, André White, Anabelle Peterson, and Marjorie Smith.
