Jeffrey's obituary
Jeff was the kind of person who would give anyone in need the shirt off his back. He wouldn't think twice about agreeing to drive two hours out of his way or in the middle of the night just to help anyone that needed him. He loved spending an afternoon or evening surrounded by family and friends that was full of good conversation and delicious food. Always one to lend a shoulder of support or wise word of advice. Jeff touched the lives of so many around him and his unexpected loss has left a gaping hole in the hearts of all that knew him.
Born in Brooklyn, he resided in Edison since 1984.
He was a Telecommunications Engineer for Union Local #3 IBEW, for 23 years.
He loved his family, his dogs, his friends and enjoyed listening to the Grateful Dead and jazz.
Surviving is his wife of 43, years, Phyllis Siegel; his children, Jordan Siegel of Edison and Jessica Siegel of Old Bridge; granddaughter Kailey; beloved “Auntie I”; nephew Sean Klein, and niece in law Fiamma Klein; siblings, Deborah Siegel Golden of Cranbury, David Siegel of Israel, and Betty Leventhal of Cranbury.
The visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, from 6-8 pm, at Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Ave., Metuchen.
