Jeffrey's obituary

Jeffrey “Jeff” Meyer

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jeffrey “Jeff” Meyer, who passed away peacefully, leaving behind cherished memories with family and friends. Jeff was born on Long Island, New York, where he spent his childhood before moving to Virginia in 2007. Shortly after, he met the love of his life, Shena, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love, accomplishments, and shared passions.

Jeff was a devoted husband to Shena and a proud father to his three children: Nathan, Sawyer, and Juliet. His children were the light of his life, and he loved nothing more than spending time with them, creating lasting memories. He is also survived by his father, Gary Meyer, stepmother, Mary Meyer, his sisters, Jennifer (Scott) and Heather (Kyle). He is predeceased by his beloved mother, Marie.

Jeff was a passionate professional in retail operations and asset protection, dedicating his career to investigations, a field he found incredibly rewarding. He touched the lives of many colleagues with his dedication and commitment to his work. He was also a graduate of Kings Park High School and John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where he began honing his passion for justice and truth.

Known for his positive outlook and infectious humor, Jeff had a natural ability to make people laugh and was a wonderful friend to all who knew him. His generosity, kind spirit, and light-hearted nature will be deeply missed by all.

A celebration of Jeff’s life will take place at Meyer Farms, Estate, and Vineyard on September 6 at 6 PM, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and share the joy he brought into their lives.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Jeff’s honor.
