Jeff's obituary
Jeffrey “Jeff” Jenkins passed away peacefully and with courage at the age of 33 in Duluth, Georgia, while surrounded by his beloved family. Jeff was the life and the laugh of the party everywhere he went. He was an ever-loyal and ever-loving father, son, brother, and friend. No one had a bigger heart or a purer smile. You simply could not avoid having a good time when you were with Jeff!
Jeff loved spending time outdoors with family and friends. Jeff was an avid and skilled golfer — having played on the Peachtree Ridge High School golf team and won many events — fisherman, and marksman. He was a sharp poker player, winning accolades at World Series of Poker events. He was a founding member and proud champion of his “Old School Bangers” fantasy football league, and has been named the league’s Champion Emeritus. No one in the league could match Jeff’s good-natured trash talking! Born and raised in metro Atlanta, he loved his favorite sports teams, especially the Braves and the Yellow Jackets. Blessed with a creative and intelligent mind, he enjoyed astronomy and won many spelling bees and trivia titles.
Jeff helped teach the game of golf to others for many years, and caddied at the prestigious Piedmont Driving Club. More recently, he served as a dispatcher and coordinator for Waste Management, Inc.
Jeff is survived by his son Jack Conor Jenkins, his mother and father Karen and Lane Jenkins, his sister Jessica Jenkins, his grandmother Sara Ann Jenkins, his aunts Jennifer Lord and Sheryle Pruitt, his uncles Alan Jenkins, David Webster, and David Lord, and many cousins, including Avery and Gibson Lord.
Jeff’s final wish was to have his ashes spread in Alaska, where he took a special fishing trip to Gustavus and Glacier Bay with his family. In order to enable Jeff’s parents to fulfill his final wish, please consider making a donation here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/fu…
