Jeff's obituary
Jeffrey "Jeff" Paul Guddat entered the kingdom of heaven on January 21, 2024. After fighting a good fight that included cancers and paralysis we rejoice that he found his healing in heaven where he ran into the arms of Jesus.
Jeff was born to Carol and Joyce Guddat on July 15, 1956 in Bend, Oregon. He spent most of his life in the greater Seattle area. He worked in construction for 35 years with his proudest accomplishment being the family home he custom built with his brothers. Jeff also worked as a warehouse foreman and a church worship director.
In 1983, Jeff married Cynthia (Cindy) Shaw and set himself the goal of loving her for a lifetime. Jeff enjoyed playing the piano, going camping, and spending time with his family. Most important of all was his savior Jesus Christ. He used music as a way to share God’s love. Jeff used his health struggles near the end of his life as an opportunity to tell his health care team about the faithfulness of God.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife Cynthia (Cindy) Guddat; his sons Jason (Rachel) Guddat, Jonathan (René) Guddat, Jeremy (Emily) Guddat, and Justin (Jessie) Guddat; his grandchildren Grace, Annabelle, Tessa, Wesley, Mackenzie, Tyson, Ava, Cooper, Chloe, Ezekiel, Emma, and Makenna Guddat; his brothers Brent (Frances) Guddat and Tracy (Deborah) Guddat; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Carol and Joyce Guddat.
