Jeffrey's obituary

When you begin to doubt your ability to do the impossible, stop and consider Jeffrey Scott Dumm, who began his eternal life November 21, 2019 at the age of 38 following a hard fought battle with kidney cancer.

Jeff's spirit is carried on by his soulmate Angela, his loving children Kayla, Hendrix, and Halen, his father Kenneth and mother Gloria, his brother John and his wife Jill, his brother AJ, his sister Brianna, his mother-in-law Donna and father-in-law David, father-in-law Kenneth Brewer and mother-in-law Debbie, his brother-in-law Jason and his wife Tiffney, his sister-in-law Courtney, his nieces and nephews Dylan, Daniel, Kingston, Clayton, Lily, Laney, Jenna, Jozie, and Jayla, and his extended family tree of beloved friends and relatives from all his journeys in this life.

Jeff was born on May 22, 1981 and quickly stole the heart of his father and best pal Kenneth Dumm.

Throughout his life Jeff had the remarkable ability to step from one type of service into another. He gracefully transitioned from serving our country as a member of the Marine Corps from 1999 to 2003, to serving his family and community in the years that followed.

Jeff was an avid member of the church in both Florida and Maine. His heart sang next to his guitar and voice in church ceremonies and brought joy and faith to the congregation.

We, his family and friends, were blessed to see Jeff do the impossible everyday. His strength in the face of the impossible came from the incredible joy he felt for his life. Long live the strength that we carry unto and within each one of us as we keep his spirit in our hearts.
