Jeffrey Dean Mason of Knoxville, Tennessee was born on October 16th, 1963, and departed this life suddenly on July 15, 2023. Jeff was a master chess player, a competitive poker player, a lover of music, art, cooking, and fan of many sports especially the Tennessee Vols football and basketball team.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father Chris Mason, his brother Matthew Mason, and his sister Cynthia Mason-Cash. He is survived by his son Derek Ryan Kline (Daisy), & daughter Amber Nicole Hopkins, his loving and caring mother Helen Justus, and his stepfather Wesley Justus, his brother Greg Mason (Susan), his sister Jennifer Thompson and his grandson Owen. Many cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
May he find peace and joy in eternal rest. His memory will always be cherished and his family will forever hold him in their hearts. Services will be held at a later date to be announced by the family.
