Jeffrey's obituary

Jeffrey Jay Congrove went home to be with our Lord on February 26, 2020. Jeff was born on August 8, 1954 in Salt Lake City, UT to Charles and Darlene Congrove. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1973-1977.
After much effort, Jeff finally convinced the love of his life, Kathy, to go on a date with him on New Years Eve 1977 and married her on March 30, 1978. Together they raised two children, Jay and Dusty in Yuma, AZ. Jeff was a family man whose number one joy in life was spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Jeff had a strong love for the outdoors. He loved to fish, hunt, golf, and ride his Harley (with his main squeeze riding on the back). His absolute favorite thing in life was to share his love of the outdoors with his family on various camping, hunting, and fishing trips. He loved his dogs and many were lucky to be spoiled by him during his lifetime. He enjoyed spending time in his workshop, and was always working on "projects." He would always say "It ain't broke, unless grandpa can't fix it". He also loved playing his guitar and "shooting the shit" with the neighbors. He loved coaching baseball and making an impact on all the kids lives who entered.

Jeff is survived by his wife Kathy, his children Jay (Nicole) Congrove, Dusty (Joe Wilkins) grandchildren Mark, Anthony, Nolan, and James Congrove, step grandkids Lilly, Diego, and Robert Wilkins, and his younger brother Mark Congrove.
Jeff is preceded in death by his parents Charles (Chuck) and Darlene Congrove as well as his brothers Mike Congrove, Dennis Congrove and Robert (Bob) Congrove. His legacy will continue and his memory will be shared by many.

Funeral arrangements are being held at Marana Mortuary and Cemetery on Tuesday March 3rd, at 2 pm.
