Jeff and I met in December 2014.  We kept in touch a few times a year.  I have been trying to reach him the last 2-3 weeks with no response.   We also spend our winters in Arizona  and wanted to  meet up with him.  I'm so sorry to Jeff's daughters and his beloved Daisy.   Who is taking care of Daisy?    How did this happen?  I'm so sorry.  He was quite a guy and loved his dog(s) and sports!

Jeff was a high school classmate. I knew him but not as well as others. Fast forward to the Facebook era and we reconnected. I had moved out of state in the early 90’s. I was in Chicago for a conference in 2013 and a small group of classmates drove into the city to have breakfast with me. Jeff was in that group and he got me and another classmate at the breakfast involved in planning our 40th reunion. Jeff and I also found we had a love of playing Yahtzee and began playing online. We would check in with each every so often. Other times we just played the game. I miss that.

My sincere condolences to Jeff’s daughters and family. Rest in peace Jeff. Gone too soon. You will be missed.

My deepest condolences for the loss of your Dad.  I worked with Jeff and following our retirement, have had many late night phone conversations...solving every issue imaginable. My wife and I had the pleasure of spending some time with Jeff and Daisy out in Arizona a couple of years back. He was a kind, helpful, hardworking guy. He was truly a friend and will be missed by me and my entire family.  Bob Crawford

Big League Weekend 2016 — with Nancy Smith
Playing basketball in our driveway was one of the most fun things dad and I loved doing together. He would always like when we were interested in any sport or activity, especially when I got into the Bull's Championship run. It was a big bonding activity for us, and one of the things I'll cherish most about growing up.

Jeff came to visit me in Las Vegas in 2016 and we went to watch the Cubs play their annual Las Vegas Big League Weekend exhibition game against the Mets. Cubs won 5-1!

We had great seats and perfect weather. Our whole day was fun and we shared many laughs, good food and fun. I shall cherish this rare opportunity I had to spend the weekend with him.
