Jeffrey's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Powell, a beloved husband, friend, and mentor. Born on December 15, 1962, Jeffrey's vibrant life journey came to an end on February 10, 2025.
Jeffrey was known for his love of television shows that touched upon life’s realities and simplicities. Among his favorites were NCIS, 911, Little House on the Prairie, and The Andy Griffith Show. These shows reflected a piece of Jeffrey’s own character, a man who appreciated both action-filled stories and humble narratives of rural life.
A man of simple pleasures, Jeffrey’s recreational activities included fishing and hunting. He found serenity and excitement in these activities, and they often served as bonding moments with loved ones, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Jeffrey also held a passion for cooking, an interest he inherited from his mother. He spent countless hours in the kitchen, creating meals that were as delightful and heartwarming as the man himself. His warm, comforting dishes will always serve as a loving reminder of his nurturing spirit.
Jeffrey leaves behind his wife, brothers Vince, and Rex Powell, who will forever hold him in their hearts. His unique spirit lives on in his friends, family, and all those whose lives were touched by his kindness, humor, and wisdom.
In admiration and respect, his close friend Tom Wright, who considered him as a brother, expresses his deep sorrow. Along with countless friends and family, Tom will remember Jeffrey not just for the happiness he brought into their lives, but for the strength of character he demonstrated every day.
Jeffrey Powell’s memory will be preserved in the hearts and minds of all who knew him, and he will be profoundly missed. Our thoughts go out to the bereaved family during this sorrowful time. Rest in peace, dear Jeffrey. Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
