Background

On February 20, 2026, our hearts broke as we said goodbye to our beloved brother and friend, Jeffrey Shrimpf, who passed away at just 50 years old.

Jeffrey was a man of simple, unwavering faith and a heart truly made of gold. Living on limited disability income never stopped him from giving — he gave his time, his strength, his kindness, and often his very last dollar to anyone in need. He faithfully served his church, volunteered at local food pantries, plowed snow, mowed lawns, and showed up wherever he was needed. Helping others was not something Jeffrey did — it was who he was.

Though he had no close blood relatives to stand beside him, Jeffrey never lacked family. To him, every friend became a brother, sister, mom, or dad. He loved deeply, felt deeply, and cared for people in a way that changed lives. Those who knew him know his heart beat bigger than most — and we believe it simply gave all it had.

We are coming together as his chosen family to give Jeffrey the respectful funeral and burial he deserves, laid to rest near the family he loved and missed so much. Our community is doing everything we can, but we need help covering the funeral expenses.

If you feel moved to honor a truly kind, selfless, God-fearing man, any contribution, prayer, or share would be a tremendous blessing.

May God bless you, and may Jeffrey rest in the eternal peace he so faithfully believed in.
