Retired Master Sgt. Jeffery Moody, 47 passed away peacefully at home on 12/19/2023. Jeffery was a decorated veteran who served in the USAF serving 22 years active duty.

Jeffery was born on September 26, 1976 in Newburg  NY to  his parents John Clifton Moody Sr. and Susan Lee Moody. When he was just 17, Jeffery decided he wanted to join the United States Airforce and was stationed at Patrick AFB, Moody AFB, Shaw AFB, Sheppard AFB, and March Air Reserves. Jeffery would go on to serve  with some of his closest friends .  During his time in Shaw AFB, he met and fell in love with Janice , who he soon married in 2004. Jeffery and Janice chose to settle in the town of Merritt Island Florida. After moving to Merritt Island , Jeffery started working at Northrop Grumman. He worked at Northrop Grumman for 7 years.

When he wasn’t working, Jeffery had a passion for hockey, casinos, shooting fireworks and spending time with his family and friends. Jeffery was predeceased by Paternal Grandparents Grover Clifton Moody ( Dorothy Gall Moody) and Maternal Grandparents Ronald Frances Lee (Charlotte Lee ). He is survived by his wife Janice Moody. His children Shelby Ray (Stacie Hamilton Jr.), Madison Moody (Kaden Lovell) Jacob Moody and Kamyrn Adams. His parents John Clifton Moody Sr. (Susan Lee Moody). His brothers John Clifton Moody Jr. (Erica Moody) and Jason Moody (Cindy Moody). Also several nieces and nephews. The family requests that flowers be sent to  Cape Canaveral National Cemetery 5525 U.S. Highway 1, NorthMims, FL 32754. There will be a funeral service held on January 19, 2024 at 12:30pm at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery 5525 U.S. Highway 1, NorthMims, FL 32754
