Jeffery's obituary
It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Jeffery "Jeff" Milam, who left us on September 24, 2024, at the age of 65. Born on March 7, 1959, Jeffery was a vibrant and giving man who lived a full life.
He is survived by his adoring sister, Karen Budke, and his cherished nieces and nephews: Mikaela Budke, Victoria Budke, Samantha Budke, Billy Milam, and Blakely Milam. They will miss him dearly, as will everyone who knew him. Jeffery was predeceased by his parents, Billy and Shirley Milam, and his brother, Danny Milam. Jeff's family was very important to him and he loved them very much.
Jeffery had an insatiable love for life and the world around him. He was a culinary enthusiast who relished in pizza, tacos, chili, and steak, with a special fondness for his mother's tacos. Among his preferred beverages, iced tea held the highest regard. He was an avid reader and held the Bible close to his heart as his favorite book.
Fond of live music, Jeffery would often be found at local spots where he could enjoy the rhythms that life offered. He was also enamored with the beauty and tranquility of Hawaii, which he considered his forever home.
Above all, Jeffery was a man of faith who cherished his family and friends. These were the causes he held closest to his heart. He served in the Navy for four years and wore his status as a veteran with pride.
Jeffery's vibrant personality and giving nature will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to have known him. His passing leaves a void in our hearts, but his spirit lives on in the memories we shared with him. May he rest in peace.
