J.R.'s obituary

With heavy hearts, the family is announcing the unexpected passing of Jeffrey Richard Fisher, known to most as J.R., on March 31, 2025, at the age of 65.

Born on September 19, 1959, J.R. was a businessman and entrepreneur; a son, husband, father, and grandfather who made his home in Georgetown, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica Fisher; his son, Patrick Fisher partner Destiny; his daughter, Nicole Armentrout husband Blake; and his three grandsons, Hunter, Owen, and Adam. He also leaves behind his sister, Dorene Fisher, and his nephew, Nathan Martin.

J.R. spent his life working hard and chasing opportunities with passion and grit. His drive and dedication left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him, and he will be remembered in the many ways he showed up in the world—straightforward, unfiltered, and uniquely himself. Everyone who loved him will feel his absence deeply.

A private family gathering will be held in his memory.
