Dear Deb. We are deeply saddened by the news of Jeff's passing. Our friendship with Jeff included Scarborough Beach and then enjoying food and a Narragansett beer at George's of Galilee. We would often email each other jokes and holiday greetings. We will always remember his kindness and sense of humor. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Lou and Nancy Pepin

Deb, I can not begin to tell you the deep sadness I felt when I heard of Jefferson’s passing. Although we haven’t seen each other for some years, our love and respect for each other was unending. I was blessed to have him as a friend for most of my life and the wonderful memories of adventures we shared will be with me forever. He was and always will be remembered for his kindness and deep sense of humanity. I consider myself very blessed to have known him and loved him as if he was my own brother. With my deepest sympathy, Peter Vuona

Dear Deb,
I remember the deep friendship that Jefferson ( George) and my brother, Jim, shared for so many years. I still live in Worcester and whenever I drove down Burncoat St., I would look at his name on the sign outside the building he practiced in. My husband, Frank Foley, knew him well through sports, esp. basketball. I am Jim Hallinan's sister and will remember him in my prayers.

To Deb. Your live with Jefferson was amazingly simple and complex at the same time. A true love story! My deepest sympathies. Be well. Be strong.

Oh my! I was a student of Dr. Breen in the 70's at FSC. I was just talking to someone this past week about him and how much I remember what he taught me. Rest in peace and enjoy the golden beach!

Dear Deb & family,
Please accept my sincerest sympathy at the passing of your husband/dad. I am Jim Hallinan's sister, Margie Prendergast, and knew George/Jeff since he & Jim became friends while at Clark. He was such a kind, funny, charming & pleasant guy. He & Jim had the dearest, funniest but sincerest friendship. His sudden passing is such a shock as I spoke with him in November while Jim was visiting me in Florida, it was a great chat.
I hope that your memories will help you all through this very difficult time but will also give you strength as you mourn a great loss.
Sincerely,
Margie (Hallinan) Prendergast
