Jed's obituary

Jed Haddad (age 36), of Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Jed was a devoted and caring husband, father, brother, son, and friend. His strength of character, unwavering determination, and unshakeable faith guided him through every challenge life presented. Jed’s sense of humor and deep compassion for others will be sorely missed by all who knew him. His legacy will live on through the stories and laughter shared by those whose lives he touched during his vibrant journey.

For 2.5 years, Jed fought bravely against stage IV cancer, never letting the illness interfere with his love for life. He cherished every moment with his daughters, taking them on adventures and making precious memories. Jed also enjoyed a round of golf, sipping bourbon, and sharing cigars with close friends. His dedication extended to his work with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and he continued to make an impact at Texas Instruments up until the very end. On January 29th, at 12:15 AM, Jed peacefully passed into the arms of Jesus, free from pain and cancer, and embraced in eternal rest.

He is survived by his wife, Lara, and their two daughters, Vivian and Eloise. He is also mourned by his parents, Adel and Norma Haddad, and his siblings, Carla Jewett and Stephanie Haddad. Additionally, he leaves behind his brother-in-law Mark Jewett, niece and nephew Haley and Luke Jewett, his in-laws Denise and Pat Granahan, and sister-in-law Kimberly Granahan.

Jed graduated from Bryant University in 2011 with a B.S. in Finance and went on to earn his MBA from Southern Methodist University in 2015.
