I was so saddened to hear about Jed. This is truly an unimaginable loss, and my heart aches for his beloved wife, children, and the entire family during this overwhelming time. I had the privilege of working with Jed at TI years ago and we saw each other a couple of time at church, where his infectious energy, quick wit, and genuine good nature made every day brighter. While he will be profoundly missed, I take comfort in knowing that his beautiful spirit is at peace with God, watching over all the lives he touched so deeply.

I consider myself blessed to know Jed. He was always a joy to be around. He was passionate, energetic, and willing to help anyone that needed it. He would often go out of his way to serve those around him. Jed had such an impact to so many people and the world is a better place because he was in it. When we lose someone we love and admire, we question why. I found myself asking this about Jed's situation many times. The world needs people like Jed in it. We need the joy, love, and servant hearted life that he lived every day. I believe the answer is that God has bigger plans for Jed than we are able to understand. So, while we mourn the loss of a dear friend, father, husband, son, and brother, we can find peace in the fact that Jed is where he was meant to be all along. We love you Jed and will honor you with the way we treat others every day.
