Her family enjoyed her many stories of growing up in that area as the youngest child of four and the only daughter.
Jeannine met and married her husband, Walt, in Troy, accompanied him to his various duty stations in his naval career, and raised four children. When he retired in 1973, they settled in the Nashville, TN area. Jeannine was an active member of her local Nazarene Church since 1958 until her health began to decline.
During her years in Tennessee, she was employed in the insurance and postal departments of Memorial Hospital in Madison, TN. She was also an accomplished seamstress, cook, baker; and was the family historian with an accurate recall of the family tree, names, dates, places, events, and specific details. She will be missed.
Visitation is scheduled at Goodlettsville Church of the Nazarene (GoodNaz) for Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. where Pastor Philip Smith will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jeannine’s life.
