Jeannie Lee Wood Rubin, age 70, of Dallas passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025 surrounded by family. She was born March 5, 1954, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jeannie was preceded in death by her mother, Bobbie Mulford, her father, Eugene (Gene) Mulford, and a brother, Eugene V. Mulford, Jr.

In high school she was head twirler, played the clarinet, and was voted Valentine Princess. She moved to Dallas and worked in real estate, banking and human resources for Channel Four. She retired from Kroger after working for twenty eight years in Customer Service. Jeannie was patient, kind and empathetic to everyone she met.

She met her husband Al Rubin in 2001 and they enjoyed many years together traveling to Mexico, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic. They floated the Comal River in New Braunfels many times. She enjoyed visiting with friends and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

‍Jeannie is survived by her husband Al Rubin, sister Sandi Mulford, Daughters Amber Jones (Chris) and Jennifer Green (Joey), Step-daughters Kristy Cash (Kenneth), Julie Pickard (Justin), Heather Rubin, and Emily Goodin (Greg), Grandchildren: Anthony (Rhe), Robbie, Colton, Raegan, Charlotte, Trevor (Kayla), Lucas, Leah, Braden, Bailey, and Graham; Great Grandchildren Madeline, and Tobias.

‍A memorial service will be held at The Church at Junius Heights, 5429 Reiger Ave, Dallas, Texas, on Friday, March 21st, 2025 at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Heart Association.
