Jeannie's obituary

Jeannie Rose Bailey Rogers
October 30, 1945 – August 13, 2025

Early in the morning of August 13, 2025, at the Methodist Hospice Home in Memphis, Tennessee, Jeannie Rose Bailey Rogers let go of this world to pass into a better one, surrounded by the angels who cared for her and made her comfortable in her final days.

Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert E. Bailey and Mary Frances Bailey, and by her siblings: Robert Arlen Bailey, Patsy Ruth Hunter, Mary Elizabeth “Tiny” Bailey, and William Thomas “Sonny Boy” Bailey. She was also preceded in death by her nieces Debbie Hunter, Tammy Mann, and Teresa Webster.

She is survived by her son, Mark (Christina) Bormann of Stuttgart, Arkansas; her four grandchildren, Abigail, Austin, Gracie, and Jared; and her great-granddaughter, Adeline Bormann.
She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews: Judy Bailey Anderson, Dale Bailey, Phillip Bailey, Paul Bailey, Sethanie McCracken, Veronica “Poupette” Black, Kathy Fowler, Cheryl Crawford, and Rance Webster, along with numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
Jeannie will be remembered for her stylish grace, resilient spirit, and generous heart. She had a gift for making others feel special, whether through her laughter, her thoughtful presence, or her unforgettable knack for giving the most meaningful gifts.
A Memorial Service will be held at Grand Prairie Church on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. All friends and family are invited to join us in honoring and remembering Jeannie’s life.
