Jeannette "Tonka" Sylvince, 85, of [sunny/cloudy/rainy/windy/bright] Brooklyn, NY, passed away on May 23, 2022.

Jeannette, was born on July 25, 1936  in Haiti, she immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. Jeannette met her husband, Pierre in Haiti and were married a few years later. Jeannette immigrated to New York in March of 1972 with her then 5 year old daughter, Elizabeth. Jeannette had 4 children,  [names of children].

Jeannette was a fiercely dedicated mom to her children. God was first in Jeannette's life and her family immediately after.  The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.

Jeannette was predeceased by [list of family members who have passed away]. She is survived by daughters, Mimi & Elizabeth, son's Steven & Jimmy. Grandchildren, Tammy, Andy and Andrew & Great grandson, Baron.  Fritz, Shirley & Edwin. and a huge loving family of nieces, nephew's, & cousins. Flowers can be sent to Greenwood Baptist Church, located at 461 6th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215. Services will be announced at a later date.
