I was so sorry to hear of your mom passing. I was Jeannette third foster child I was fourteen and was in a bad situation when they agreed to take me into their home. I truly believe Jeannette saved my life and taught me what a normal home is along with how to cook bake and sew. I wanted to learn how to knit but being left handed I never could pick it up, but not from her lack of trying. I am now a better Christian and mom through Jeannette’s teaching and will be forever grateful.

Much love,

Wanda J Dangel

This is Patti Canoy-Barrett. I had a house off of Marshall Street so Jeannette we were neighbors. I remember after she was diagnosed I would go over there and I would fill empty clear medicine capsules and we make piles of them which is easier for me to fill them. I have many memories. I remember when she adopted Mark and she told me stories of Her choices at the time Mark I’m so proud of you, you really grew into a great young man sorry I won’t be able to make it down. You both have a place in my heart cheers Patti Poulsbo Washington Mark if you’re ever in this area, I’ll leave the guest cottage light on for you. Cheers.
To have a friend like Jeannette was a true gift.  Jeannette and I worked  in the Emergency room for some time together  she was a great nurse and special friend   Our families became close over the years with camping and other activities.   I will miss her forever.   Mark, Val, Lorrie were fortunate to call her mother.    Rest well my friend you so deserve it
All of my love to you Val and Lorrie. My most core memories include Jeannette and you all. My mom’s dearest friend and confidant, We spent so much time together as we were growing up.  She is an incredible person, I feel blessed to have grown up with her 💜
I had the honor of meeting Jeannette when I started working in MPU at St. Vincent in 2004 as an Endo Tech. Jeannette was the most welcoming and kindest person I encountered. She was most gracious in offering to help with my young son at the time by having him spend a day during the week with her and Mark at her home while I was at work. This was such a help to me. Jeannette was a true friend in every sense. Jeannette was an amazing nurse who took exceptional care of her patients. She TRULY cared! She had an amazing sense of humor, strong loyalty to friends and family and most of all loved her family. Just a good, good person to her core.
