Jeannette's obituary
Jeannette Lent Hensel died November 1, 2025 at 100 years of age. She was born June 12,
1925 in Honesdale Pennsylvania.
She graduated from Honesdale High School and Wayne Commercial School.
She married Walter Lent, in 1944 and in 1948 they moved to Honolulu , Hawaii. They had 4
children, George, Laraine, Patricia and Deborah.
Walter died unexpectedly in 1972. She later married George Hensel and they moved to
Kapaau, Hawaii.
She is survived by her children Debbie Clark(Ken), Patricia Foley (Brian), George Joey Lent,
grand children Janel McPhillips (Frank), Daniel Jackson (Joy) and many nieces, nephews
and great grand children.
Jeannette had a strong faith, valued her many friends and loved people regardless of their
age, political persuasion, race or creed.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held at 10am November 22, 2025 at St Augustine's Episcopal
