Jeanne Hansen, 76, of Phoenix Arizona, died on Friday February 13, 2026 at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona

Jeanne was born September 5, 1949 to John and Leta (Yepsen) Burrows in Kewanee Illinois. She was the second of five children; she graduated from Black Hawk College with an associate’s degree in business. She worked early as a meat cutter and loved to reminisce on her time at IBP working with her sister. She was a creative soul and was especially talented  with ceramics, she later went on to open her own ceramic business. She loved to travel and was always ready for her next road trip. In her pastime you were sure to find her on her computer researching her genealogy.

She had four kids. Three daughters Tonya (Rene) Smith, Veronica Lopez, Carol (Lance) Salinas, and one son David (Lori) Hansen, eight grandchildren Josh (Raela) Boriack, Anthony Gunn, Angela Safran, Melissa Safran, Jenna (Dylan) Duarte, Jay Salinas, Tabitha Safran, Chelsea Salinas, and four great grandchildren Jaymes Duarte, Waverly Duarte, Magnolia Duarte, and Jason Safran-Ruelas.

She is proceeded in death by her parents John and Leta Burrows, brother Jeff Burrows and grandson Jay Salinas. A celebration of life will be held in Kewanee Illinois on March 14, 2026 from 12:00-3:00 at the Flemish Club. Services will be held in Phoenix Arizona on March 25, 2026 at 10:00AM at 501 E. Dunlap Ave.
