Jeanial Ann Pilkey (McQwen-Pfaff), 67, passed away on March 9, 2025, in Waterloo, Iowa.

Born on February 11, 1958, in Oregon, Jeanial lived a life filled with warmth and resilience. She was known for her unwavering positivity and the radiant smile she carried through life’s challenges. A dedicated and hardworking individual, she formed many cherished friendships over the years, touching the lives of those around her with kindness and sincerity. In recent years, she embraced a quieter life while still holding deep love for her family.

Jeanial took great pride in her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children: Jason (Kerri) Hagin, Robert Smull, and Judy Eastman; her grandchildren: Jenniffer Nicolle, Lonnie Wolff III, Zane VanSlyke, Jackson Hagin, Sawyer Hagin, Zean Smull, and Lynleigh Smull; and her great-grandchildren Luna and Thorin. She also leaves behind her brothers Randy (Tara) Pfaff and Chuck Pfaff.

She was predeceased by her mother, Alice Pfaff; her cherished bonus father, Wallace (Wally) Pfaff; and her biological father, James McQwen.

Jeanial’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. May her legacy of love and kindness bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
