Jeanette's obituary
"We are all just walking each other home."

Jeanette Ora Mae DiPietrantonio (GiGi)
"The Retro Queen"
Passed away peacefully at Northern Light Mercy Hospital, holding the hands of two of her granddaughters, Felicia and Samantha.
Jan was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was an avid reader, creative artist, baker, seamstress, quilter, Elvis fan, and lifelong learner.
Jan was married to the love of her life, Fiore DiPietrantonio, for 46 years. She will be greatly missed by her husband, her five siblings, her children, her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, and her other family members.
She was a devoted member, ambassador, and Queen of The Red Hat Society for 25 years, where she leaves behind many sisters, including her dear friend Jackie Delasso.
Jan, above all else, was a loving and compassionate person, always ready to help those in need. She faced life with unwavering optimism. She will be remembered for many things, including her delightful laugh, adventurous spirit, Italian Anise cookies during the holidays, detailed sewing of handmade garments, doll clothes, and homemade gifts, and her love for historical stories and facts.
Jan will be interred in a family plot in the country cemetery in West Gorham, where she will be reunited with her parents, Robert Austin Morrill and Rosalind Mae Martineau.
As we say goodbye, we find comfort in knowing that Jan's spirit will always be in our hearts, guiding and embracing us with the same warmth and love she shared in life. May we carry her memory forward, finding peace in the knowledge that she will forever be a part of us.
