A few memories with, my sweet Aunt Jan

I remember a weekend ride with my Mom and Dad, my Sister and I to see Aunt Jan and Uncle Fred when we were young. It was somewhere North but I cannot remember where. Family rides were always fun filled (eyes rolling) and back then family visits entailed the adults visiting in one room and kids finding their way out of boredom in another. Not this day though, and never with Aunt Jan. That day she surprised Charity and I by allowing us our first time ever to see MTV (it had just come out). It was the coolest thing ever; we watched in awe for a long while. Thank you. 🎶 ❤️

Another time she was babysitting Charity and I and dragged us everywhere all over Portland. I remember it was raining and we had taken the bus and we were complaining much of the time so when we got back to her place we had to do crafts. It was Fall I think. Sorry for complaining 🍁🎃🧡 (I think we actually missed the bus back that day and had to walk.)

I had this gerbil. Poor thing had lost its tail when I picked it up once. It made it through a horrible house fire where Grandma and Grandpa and then my parents lived on Richardson Street. After the fire it had no place to go. Aunt Jan took her in and cared for her for me until the gerbil passed. Thank you. 🐹 💕

It was Christmas time. She was watching Charity and I. Aunt Jan and Uncle Fred lived on Congress Street up by the fire station near Maine Med. It was snowing. Christmas music was playing. Christmas show playing on the tv. She made cookies. She showed us how to make handmade Christmas ornaments. We sat for hours creating. Thank you. ❤️ 🎄 🤶🏼 ⛄️ ❄️

Those are just a few memories. Thank you, Aunt Jan. I love you. ❤️🙏

My sincere condolences; love, peace, healing and comfort to Fred, her children, grandchildren, great great children, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
