Jeanette's obituary

Jeanette Allison, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on April 2, 2026 at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc, WI.

Born on January 2, 1952, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Revilla and George Masland. She graduated from Waukesha County Technical Institute and pursued a career as a medical assistant. She went on to work in the medical field, retiring after 26 years of service & compassionate care in endocrinology.

Jeanette was married to her husband, John Allison, for 55 years. Together they raised two daughters, Lisa Larson (Travis) and Sara Allison (Ben Donkle), and were blessed with four grandchildren: Corban & Merissa Larson, and Addaline & Odin Donkle. Her family was her greatest joy, and she was always the steady, loving presence who held everyone together.

She found peace and happiness in her gardens, watching the birds and squirrels that visited daily, and spending time with family and friends. Jeanette was known for her laugh, her positivity and welcoming energy. Her legacy of unconditional love, generosity, and grace will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Jeanette battled an aggressive gallbladder cancer the last six months of her life.

Honoring her wishes, there will be no funeral or service.

Jeanette supported a variety of organizations throughout her life, so in lieu of flowers the family would love for donations to be made in her memory to:

Plowshare Fair Trade Marketplace & Education for Peace                                                                                           www.plowshareftm.org

or
