Jean Judy Onofrietti, 67, of Oak Island, NC, passed away on Sunday May 19, 2024. She was born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey. She has lived in Manahawkin, New Jersey and Tom's River New Jersey and then subsequently moved to North Carolina with her boyfriend, John Mitchell. 

Jean was a mom, grandmother, school bus driver and a member of the Trinity Church in Southport, NC where she was a choir member and worked in the church. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, and going to the beach. 

Jean was predeceased by her parents Robert and Evelyn-Emogene Petrowski. She is survived by her children Joshua MacRae and wife Amanda of Marlton, NJ; Tammy Pappas and husband Jeremy of Egg Harbor, NJ; and Michele Alberts and husband Donnie of Little Egg Harbor, NJ. She is also survived her siblings Robert Petrowski Jr., Richard Petrowski, and Dorothy Petrowski; previous husband and father to her children Ted Davis; many grandchildren; and her boyfriend John Mitchell.

Visitation will be held on Sunday June 9, 2024, from 1-2pm with a memorial service immediately following at Calvary Baptist Church 850 Railroad Drive Little Egg Harbor, NJ. A celebration of life will be held at her daughter Michele's home at 115 lake Winnipesaukee dr. little egg harbor nj 08087.
