There is a sending prayer spoken at the end of the Mass: “Life is short. We don’t have much time to gladden the hearts of those who walk this way with us. So, be swift to love and make haste to be kind.” Jean lived her life this way with an easy grace gladdening the hearts of every one of us who talked with her or spent even a short time in her company.
