Jean was the daughter of John F Porr and Dorothy Simons. She married Robert B Kimmel 1947.
Jean lived in Pennsylvania most of her adult life, mostly in the Phoenixville and Schwenksville area. She enjoyed summers in Cape May, NJ as well as trips to the Poconos and Maine where she hiked and fished, having a great love for nature and wildlife.
She visited Hawaii and a cabin in the Poconos, near a lake. She attended Phoenixville High School and played the glockenspiel in the marching band. She had five children, 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She had worked as a secretary and stenographer many years.
