Jean Harrell, 60, of Vicksburg, MS, passed away on June 20, 2022 after a difficult battle with cirrhosis of the liver.

Jean was born on May 2nd, 1962,  to Henry Cody Harrell and Thelma Jean Thomas in Jackson, Ms. Jean always wanted a family of her own therefore she went on to have six children her own, Ashley Harrell, Willie Harrell, Chris Harrell, Tameka Megan Harrell, Kenya Baker, and Raymond Baker.

When Jean had Ashley Harrell, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Jean excelled at propping up her six children and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. She made it her mission to improve the lives of others.

Jean was a passionate storyteller and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in her Vicksburg with her dog Kujo. We will miss her greatly.

Jean was predeceased by Cody Henry Harrell and Thelma Jean Thomas. She is survived by her six children, Ashley Harrell, Willie Harrell, Chris Harrell, Tameka Megan Harrell, Kenya Baker, and Raymond Baker. The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Fisher Riles Funeral Home in Vicksburg, MS. There will be a celebration of life at  1 PM June 22nd, 2022, at Fisher Riles Funeral Home in Vicksburg, MS.
