Jean F. Nelson (Lesch), 70, of Maplewood, MN a loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on August 28th, 2022 in her happy place “The Camper”. Our loss was completely unexpected, and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.

Jean was born on June 3, 1952 to Paul & Gertrude Lesch in St. Paul, MN. She was survived by husband Les, children Joseph (Michelle) Nelson, Michael (Cassie) Nelson, Cassandra “CJ” (Zach) Buse, grandchildren Aurora, Sawyer, Lincoln, Aiden and many four legged grand-furbabies.

Anyone who knew Jean, knew that she was loving, caring, warm, and truthful. Her heart and home were always open to both friends in need and stray animals. She had an immense avid passion for animals, camping, bonfires, iced tea and was always a source of guidance. Jean’s family and friends will miss her more than words can say.

There will be a celebration of life service held Tuesday September 6th 4:00-7:00 pm with a short memorial service at 6:30pm at NALC Hall located at 1715 Van Dyke St, Maplewood, MN 55109.
