Born in Brush, Colorado, Jean was raised in Iowa before moving to Richland, Washington, where she graduated from Richland High School and met her husband of 56 years. Together she and Melvin had five children, David, Cynthia, Janet, James (predeceased) and Linda, 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Jean enjoyed gardening, reading, and many others pleasures throughout her life. But her passion was her family. She was an ardent Seattle Mariners and Seahawks fan and …
