Jean Smith (Mayes) Brooks, aged 101, of Hixson, Tennessee, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on April 28, 2024. She was born in Adams, Tennessee on August 30, 1922, to Paul Beasley and Verda (Smith) Mayes, and graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1946 with a major in History.
