Jaynetha's obituary

Jaynetha Robinson, 62 years young, known as Jay or JR to friends and family was born June 2, 1959 and died unexpectedly in his home on Tuesday January 11, 2022 in Tacoma Washington.

 He was passionate about his education and a lifelong learner. He was determined to achieve a higher education, even though later on in life. In 2013, Jay earned his Bachelor’s degree from Evergreen State in Tacoma. In June 2016, Jay earned a Master of Education from the University of Washington. In June 2018, Jay earned a Master of Arts in interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Washington. He was a deep thinker and loved to have long conversation if you were willing. 

He was very close to his in-laws and had many special relationship with this part of his family. He loved to work on Volkswagens, he played music including being in bands, he jammed on the harmonica and played guitar. He was a known “deadhead” and tapestries along with many VWs were collected in his garage, which he spent many hours hanging out. He would keep warm with a flannel or robe and often wore his Lionel train conductor hat. 

 Jay is survived by his children, Jessie Henderson, Bryce Bebop, Hunter Henderson, and Nathan Henderson; his younger brother Barry (& Becky) Tunstall of Ft. Stewart, Georgia; his younger brother Terry Tunstall of Palm Springs, California ( a twin); his younger brother Scotty Tunstall of Alexander City, Alabama (the other twin) 

He is predeceased by his wife, Elaina Henderson; mother, Patricia Ann Tunstall; and sister, Tanya Starlett Tunstall;
