Jayne Irene Smith, Loving mother, grandmother (MeMaw, Guma), daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and confidant, born 06/09/56, passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer on 07/11/18 at just 62 years young. She enjoyed cooking, taking care of others, talking and analyzing everything, and vacationing in Havasu. Her greatest pleasure came from spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her three children and their significant others, Melissa and Jason Miller, Ryan and Kathy Smith, and Eric Smith and Maryann Schaub-Smith; her grandsons Nickson Miller, Kennan Miller, Hudson Smith, Cooper Miller, Ford Smith and soon to be born Wyatt Smith; her granddaughter Paisley Smith; her dad Jim McClain; her mother and father-in-law, Gene and Barbra Smith; her brother and sister-in-law, John and Chris McClain; her brothers and sisters-in-law , Doreen McClain, Tom and Liz Smith, Jeff Smith and Dianne Smith, nieces, nephews, and many friends whose lives she touched and blessed. She was preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend of thirty four years Ken Smith; her mother Martha McClain; her brother Jeff McClain; and her grandparents. Mom wanted us to celebrate her wonderful life. A service honoring and celebrating her has been set for July 28, 2018 at 1130am at Palm Desert Greens Country Club in Palm Desert, CA.
