Jaymes and I had lost touch for a number of years, after I left my job at Temple.   I accepted a position at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Camden 2016.  Several months into the job, I was told that a nice gentleman was asking about me  and he was in the lobby.  I really had no idea who it could be.  I went down with members of my staff to find Jaymes, with a lovely bouquet for me.  The next week we went to lunch at an iconic  hangout  in Camden.   We talked non stop.  I think we spoke at least 4x a week and had countless lunches over the next years.  To say that I miss him really does not express  the void I feel since he passed.  May he be at peace with that lovely sly smile. 💗💐

Jaymes was planning a lovely Thanksgiving at a boutique hotel  with a friend.  He had every detail planned to perfection, although his health was failing.  Jaymes was always like that thinking about everyone else and what he could do for them.  He truly understood Thanksgiving.  I miss him terribly but I am grateful that he was in my life.

With gratitude,

Linda

My dad was a great cook this last time I saw him in July 2021 every night we ate mozzarella balls over the sink and laughed and Smiled it felt like Heaven this is one of my FAVORITES

In response to "What always reminds you of Jaymes?"

Jimmy was a long time friend going back to 1979 where he and I worked in Atlantic City. I spoke to him briefly 2 weeks ago and he told me that he had been in the hospital for month. Problems communicating that day and said that he would call me back, unfortunately that callback didn't happen before he passed away. A Very Good person that will be missed by all that was fortunate enough to know him.
