Jay Rowland was a quiet man who was very much to himself. He found joy the last few months of his life, spending time with his youngest son Anthony and his grandsons. Anthony and his family volunteer with their local Volunteer Fire Department, which is, greatly underfunded.
It brought great pride to Jay to see his family serving together as firefighter for their community.
