Jay Ralph Godfrey, 54, of Venice, Florida passed away March 15, 2021. A sports-lover, Christian, and amazing son, father, brother, and loving husband. Jay was born in Venice Hospital in 1966. While growing up on the island of Venice, Jay enjoyed riding dirtbikes, going roller skating, and getting into trouble with his friends. Jay loved and was very proud of his daughters, Paige Godfrey (19) and Samantha Hardee (30), whom he is survived by. During his life, Jay devoted his time to his family and working as a master electrician. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 27th, 2021 at Maxine Barritt Park at 12 pm. All friends and family of Jay Godfrey are welcomed to attend.
