jasper making pieces for my tag, graffiti was something he was always passionate about and soooooo knowledgeable on, beautiful artist

When I met Jasper in 1st grade, I remember thinking that Jasper was so mysterious and somehow knew the answers to everything. He was older than me, so I figured as I got older too I would catch up with him. But Jasper was always different. Even when I talked to him recently, I thought he had truly deep and insightful ideas about the world. He just understands things that other people can't.

Yet Jasper showed the same curiosity towards me. It was an irreplaceable relationship and I loved him. I'd done everything with him. The night before he passed I had been texting him about skiing and he had been telling me about a show I should watch. It's almost impossible to believe. Rest in Peace Jasper.

I've known Jasper since the early days of GHS, and I couldn't have been more proud of the person he became as we grew older together. Jasper and I have many memories, ranging from the typical middle school drama to catching a meal and exploring deep into the subways. The guy always had a joke to crack, and his beautiful contagious laughter always came to follow. I always felt jasper was a friend I could be supported by; going through our last texts together, we discussed personal things in our relationships, lives, and most importantly, what time to play Minecraft or CSGO that night. He was such a vibrant and beautiful person. I still can’t believe this. I love you so much, Jasper. Stay strong, everyone.
